The King James Version Bible

Bible Verses About Power

  • For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
  • But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
  • I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
  • And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
  • For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
  • Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
  • Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
  • Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
  • Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
  • And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
  • And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
  • For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.
  • Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
