Acts 28:23

And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

  7. And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
  8. For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publickly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.
  9. And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead. And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him. When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
  10. And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers:

Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.
  12. And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:
