For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

  10. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
  11. And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
  12. And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:
  13. And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people.
  14. Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.
  15. And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.
  16. Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
  17. And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
  18. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
  19. Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,
