Acts 11:14

Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.

  1. And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.
  2. And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.
  3. So the father knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.
  4. And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
  5. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
  6. For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
  7. The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
  8. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
  9. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
  10. He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great. The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
  11. The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.
  12. For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.
  13. And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:
  14. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
  15. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
  16. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
  17. Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
  18. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
  19. But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
  20. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.
  21. A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
  22. He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.
  23. Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee. Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.

  27. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
  28. And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.
  29. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
