2 Timothy 1:14

That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

  2. O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

  8. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
  9. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
  10. For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
  11. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
  12. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
  13. In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
  14. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
  15. And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.
  16. Quench not the Spirit.
  17. According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
  18. For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
  19. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
  20. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
