2 John 1:8

Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

  8. And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
  9. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.
  10. And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
  11. And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
  12. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
  13. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
  14. That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
  15. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
  16. But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
  17. Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
