Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

  1. Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
  2. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
  3. Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
  4. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
  5. Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.
  6. And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.
  7. Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
  8. To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
  9. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
  10. For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
  11. And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
  12. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
  13. And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
  14. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
  15. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
  16. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
  17. He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
  18. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  19. Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
  20. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
  21. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
  22. And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
