2 Chronicles 7:10

And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the LORD had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.

  8. Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into thy resting place, thou, and the ark of thy strength: let thy priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let thy saints rejoice in goodness.
  9. And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people: for the thing was done suddenly.
  10. So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.
  11. Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our LORD: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
  12. For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
  13. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
  14. Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
  15. That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.
  16. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
  17. And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
  18. Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
