1 Timothy 4:4

For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

  6. That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
  7. As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.
  8. For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
  9. All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
  10. Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:
  11. Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
