1 Timothy 3:14

These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:

  1. And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
  2. Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia. And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go. For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.
  3. And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit; And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea. When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?
  4. Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us.
  5. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
  6. But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.
  7. Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.
  8. Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
  9. But I trust I shall shortly see thee, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to thee. Our friends salute thee. Greet the friends by name.
