1 Thessalonians 4:18

Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

  1. Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD's hand double for all her sins.
  2. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
  3. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
  4. Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
  5. And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
  6. Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
