1 Thessalonians 3:11

Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.

  5. Doubtless thou art our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, O LORD, art our father, our redeemer; thy name is from everlasting.
  6. They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
  7. A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the LORD of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?
  8. That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
  9. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
  10. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
  11. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
  12. That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
  13. Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
  14. (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
  15. The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
  16. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
  17. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
  18. Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
  19. Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
  20. And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
  21. To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
  22. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
  23. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
