1 Samuel 17:42

And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.

Hear, O our God; for we are despised: and turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them for a prey in the land of captivity:
  7. Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
  8. In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness. Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches. Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?
