And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.

Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
  6. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
  7. And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that the LORD will work for us: for there is no restraint to the LORD to save by many or by few.
  8. Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
  9. And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
  10. Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said.
