1 Samuel 12:24

Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

  7. And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
  8. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
  9. Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.
  10. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
  11. Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
  12. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
  13. For our God is a consuming fire.
