1 Peter 5:12

By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God wherein ye stand.

  8. Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
  9. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

  15. With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.
  16. Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.
  17. Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
  18. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
  19. Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.
  20. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
