1 Peter 4:8

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

  10. But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another. And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;
  11. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
  12. Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
  13. Let brotherly love continue.
  14. But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
  15. And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
  16. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
