Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

  6. His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
  8. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
  9. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
  10. If ye love me, keep my commandments.
  11. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
  12. He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
  13. And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
  14. So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
  15. And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
  16. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
  17. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
  18. If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.
  19. Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
  20. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
  21. (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
  22. For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
  23. Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
  24. How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
  25. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
  26. Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
  27. And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;
  28. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
  29. Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
  30. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
  31. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
  32. Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
  33. And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
  34. We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
