1 John 4:21

And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

  7. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
  8. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
  9. Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
  10. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
  11. But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
  12. Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:
  13. And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
  14. We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
  15. My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
  16. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
  17. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
