1 John 3:3

And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

  9. For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
  10. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
  11. That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
  12. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
  13. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
  14. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
  15. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
  16. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
