1 John 2:5

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

  12. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
  13. But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
  14. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
  15. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
  16. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
  17. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
  18. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
  19. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
  20. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
  21. Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
  22. And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
  23. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
  24. Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
  25. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
  26. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
  27. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
  28. And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
  29. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
  30. Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.
