1 Corinthians 15:2

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

  2. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
  3. But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
  4. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

  6. My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
  7. Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.
  8. My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. When thou goest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
  9. Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
  10. They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
  11. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
  12. Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
  13. Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
  14. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
  15. For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
  16. Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed. Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
  17. And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
  18. For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
  19. We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
  20. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
  21. If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
  22. Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
  23. Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
  24. Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
  25. Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
  26. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
  27. What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
  28. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
  29. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
