1 Chronicles 4:43

And they smote the rest of the Amalekites that were escaped, and dwelt there unto this day.

  6. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
  7. And the man went into the land of the Hittites, and built a city, and called the name thereof Luz: which is the name thereof unto this day.
  8. And they drew out the staves of the ark, that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.
  9. Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.
  10. Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.
  11. So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
