1 Chronicles 16:9

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.

He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
  6. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
  7. Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
  8. And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.
  9. Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
  10. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
  11. Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
